The Health Sciences Distinguished Teaching Chair Project is endowed to address and promote health science issues at SJC. The activities of this chair provide innovative projects that significantly improve instruction, student success and/or retention in the SJC Health Sciences programs or related areas.

The project is funded through Tom and Sherman Dugan in memory of Mary Dugan.

BP Billiton Native American Student Success


The Native American Student Success Distinguished Teaching Chair Project directly addresses the academic engagement and promotes the success of San Juan College Native American Students.
