SCHOLARSHIP
APPLICATION FORMS AND PROCEDURES
Scholarships, like grants, are considered gift aid. Scholarships, however,
may be based on financial need, academic achievement, college major, residency
or special interests. NOTE: most scholarships require certain grade point
averages (GPA). Please refer to the appropriate scholarship criteria to
see if you qualify. To apply for the scholarships listed in this brochure,
complete an SJC Foundation scholarship application, available from the Financial
Aid Office. Priority deadline for scholarship consideration each
year is April 15th. Students are still encouraged to apply after April
15th, and will be considered based on available scholarships. Additional
documents to be submitted with the San Juan College scholarship application:
- Admission Application - first time student only:
- Letter from you listing your educational goals
- Unofficial grade transcript(s) from the last college that you attended,
or your high school.
